Due to the recent severe weahter in the Midwest and on the East Coast, storms have closed state offices such as Maryland, Oklahoma and Virgina.
With the recent snowfall, oversize loads have come to a standstill due to the amounts of snow and cold weahter recieved over the past few days.
The weather has caused state offices to have minimal staff and/or to be closed so permits are unable to be ordered.
State offices are still operating with  half staff, which has caused a longer wait turnaround time in receiving permits.
