After torrential rains last week that caused flooding and landslides and stranded hundreds of big rigs and cars along Highway 58 in Mojave, California, the highway is now cleared and open.
Caltrans District 6 and area contractors worked together to clear out the vehicles and aftermath from the mudslide.
75 tractor-trailers were among the 115 vehicles trapped during the disaster, including some hauling oversize loads.
Crews will continue to work on debris on the side of the road, so drivers traveling the 58 are asked to continue to take caution.
