and much more

WCS Permits & Pilot Cars quickly expanded after opening in 1998, and became a nationwide oversize load permit service provider in 2003.

A big reason for WCS Permit & Pilot Cars’ growth has been the commitment to relationship building. The company has built its brand and reputation through quality service, industry event and trade show participation, and honest business practices which has helped them establish great relationships with government agencies (state and local), customers, industry associations and more.

WCS Permits & Pilot Cars has grown into the largest, privately-owned oversize/overweight permit company in the United States and Canada. As the largest puller of oversize permits in North America, WCS has quite the story.

It all started in 1998 when owner, Wes Mollno decided to start a small Southern California-based pilot car and oversize permit service. After a few short years of providing pilot car dispatch, escort vehicles and oversize load permits in California and the Western US, the company further expanded its reach.

In the beginning, Mollno was working out of a bedroom in his house, built a small staff and moved into today’s corporate headquarters in Los Angeles. From there, he opened the company’s Eastern headquarters in Columbus, OH and continued by adding offices and oversize permit agents to the team nationwide.
